I just uploaded a few more photos into a facebook album, named playtime.  Out of all of them I can't decide which I like best. My top two favs...the one I posted yesterday and this one.

There's a somewhat dark and dreamy quality to this one that I find interesting. In some respects I think looks like flowers floating on water.     I <3 f2.0. 

spring bokeh

Last night I had a photo play session in my back yard.  My little tree with its pink blossoms always encourages practice shooting wide open. I love the bokeh in this one.  Happy Spring (even if it is early.)

More often than not, my most favorite photos of families are the ones that perfectly imperfect. Don't you agree?

It's a new year, and finally there's a new post!   One of my goals for this year is to give both my blogs a facelift.  My enthusiasm for this project waxes and wains so  we'll see how long it takes to accomplish this goal.

In the mean time I thought I'd treat you to a new face on the blog.   Meet Amelia.
