Thank you for taking the time to check out my little photography site. I have been a photographer for years, but now I find myself working in a library. It sounds strange, yes, but what I am doing is helping create digital archives. Makes more sense now. Right? On this site I'll share with you images, and stories about the people, places and memories that go along with these images. I hope you enjoy the time you spend here.

Can you figure out why little guy might be excited?

Maybe it is because it's "Love your red hair day."

Or maybe it's because today marks 50 days until Christmas. Yay!!!

I call this a not-so-sneak preview because I've already delivered the images to the family, but I had yet to share any here.

Assembling four families from two different cities for a session is no small feat. When all the schedules had been ironed out, it was revealed that we had one window of opportunity that was only a few hours.  As I watched the weather predictions all week  I began to worry. The forecast was not good, ninety to ninety-five percent chance of not only rain, but thunderstorms.  And still, we had one day to pull this off.

Plans were made, and back up plans were made. Then, just as we all assembled the rain came to an end, and everything was perfect.

The girls still danced around with their umbrellas.
