Assembling four families from two different cities for a session is no small feat. When all the schedules had been ironed out, it was revealed that we had one window of opportunity that was only a few hours. As I watched the weather predictions all week I began to worry. The forecast was not good, ninety to ninety-five percent chance of not only rain, but thunderstorms. And still, we had one day to pull this off.
Plans were made, and back up plans were made. Then, just as we all assembled the rain came to an end, and everything was perfect.
The girls still danced around with their umbrellas.
