So as promised, here are a few more photos from Teresa and Richard's wedding in Bardstown.
Since Teresa and Richard decided to have a small ceremony, they thought it would be fun to celebrate their nuptials by taking a ride on My Old Kentucky Dinner Train with all of their guests. The dinner train features fully restored dining cars, that make you feel as if you've stepped back in time to the 1940's. The ride is roughly two hours long and includes a wonderful four course meal to enjoy, as you pass through the Kentucky landscape. 
From the moment I saw the vintage railroad cars I knew I'd have to sneak the bride and groom away for a few minutes for some photos. Luckily we had some down time in between the ceremony and the train's departure from the depot to go play.
I'm not sure why, but I had to put these images together in a little series. They were so much fun. I couldn't dare break them up.
Eventually, it was time to embark on our train excursion, but the fun didn't stop there.
There were still many smiles and laughs for the newlywed couple. We dined on delicious food and enjoyed some beautiful scenery, as the route takes you through the heart of the Kentucky Bourbon Distillery Trail and Bernhelm Forest.
But one of the best parts was being able to just sit back, relax, visit and share in Teresa and Richard's happiness.
I know I've said this before. I've seen countless couples take that big step toward committing their hearts and their lives toward one another. It's always an honor for me to be there to help record those memories. But, to be there to witness and share your best friend's happiness adds a whole new level of importance....for me at least. Congratulations again Teresa and Richard. Thank you for letting me capture your special day, and thanks for letting me play.
